Emelie most recently directed RENT at Open Stage Theatre & Company. Emelie has directed a number of shows for OpenStage including The Rocky Horror Show in 2011 and 2012 (OPUS Award for Best Play, Best Director), A Picasso, The Maiden’s Prayer (OPUS Award, Best Play) and Swimming in the Shallows. In addition, Emelie has designed sound for The 39 Steps, Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol (OPUS Award, Best Sound Design) and with Michael Borello for Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure.
Recently, Emelie became the new Managing Director for OST and has begun the new LEAP program at CSU (Master of Arts Leadership and Administration). Theatre is truly Emelie’s passion and now her life is filled with it in every way. This makes her very happy.
